Responsible play

Free to enter, always.

You can never lose money on PostDraw UK — there is no stake, no deposit and no wallet to top up. We still take healthy habits seriously, and this page explains how.

1

Why there is nothing to lose

Every draw on this site is free to enter. We do not accept deposits, we do not sell tickets, entries, credits, bundles or upgrades, and there is no way to spend money with us. Money only ever moves in one direction: from us to you.

Because no stake is possible, we are not a gambling operator and no Gambling Commission licence applies. That does not make the emotional side of prize draws irrelevant, which is why the commitments below exist.

2

Our commitments to you

We hold ourselves to the following, whether or not the law requires it:

  • We never suggest that entering more often improves your odds — your postcode is entered once per draw, full stop.
  • We never use false urgency, fake countdown pressure or invented winner activity to keep you on the site.
  • We never imply that a prize is owed to you, close to being won, or dependent on completing more offers.
  • Optional reward offers are clearly labelled as optional, and are never a condition of entry into any draw.
  • We do not target under-18s, and we do not market to anyone who has asked us to stop.
3

Staying in control of your account

Everything below is available from your account settings, with no need to contact us:

  • Turn off email, on-site and push notifications individually.
  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter in one click.
  • Hide your name from public winner lists and profiles.
  • Take a break by simply not logging in — your postcode entry does not cost you anything to leave dormant.
  • Close your account permanently from Settings; you can also ask us to delete your personal data.
4

Self-exclusion

If you want a hard break, ask us for self-exclusion from the Support page and tell us the length you want — 6 months, 1 year or permanent. We will disable your account, remove your postcode from future draws, stop all marketing, and refuse re-registration for the period you chose.

Any prize you had already validly claimed before self-excluding will still be paid to you once verification is complete.

5

Signs worth paying attention to

Free draws cannot damage your finances, but any habit can affect your wellbeing. It may be worth stepping back if you find yourself checking results compulsively, feeling low or anxious when a draw doesn't go your way, hiding how much time you spend on prize sites, or relying on a win as part of your household budget. A prize should be a nice surprise, never a plan.

6

Free, confidential UK support

These organisations are independent of us, free to contact and confidential:

  • GamCare — 0808 8020 133, open 24/7 (gamcare.org.uk).
  • National Gambling Helpline live chat via gamcare.org.uk.
  • GamBan and GAMSTOP — free blocking and self-exclusion tools for gambling sites.
  • Samaritans — 116 123, free, 24 hours a day, for any kind of distress.
  • StepChange — free debt advice (stepchange.org).
7

Protecting under-18s

Our draws are strictly 18+. We verify age at registration and again before any payout, and we close accounts found to belong to a minor with no prize paid. If you share a device with children, consider free parental control software such as Net Nanny or your operating system's built-in family settings.

If you're worried about your own use of prize or gambling sites, contact GamCare on 0808 8020 133 — it's free, 24/7 and confidential.
