Our news section is at its best when it is written by members rather than marketers. Contributors write the winner interviews, the money-saving guides, the explainers and the seasonal round-ups that make PostDraw UK worth reading between draws.
You do not need to be a journalist. If you can write clearly and honestly about money, community and everyday UK life, we would like to read your pitch.
What you would be doing
- Pitch article ideas — winner stories, guides, opinion pieces or local features.
- Write 500–1,200 word posts in plain, friendly British English.
- Interview winners and members (we make the introductions).
- Work with our editor on a light round of edits before publication.
- Suggest topics based on what members are asking in the forum.
How it works
- 1Send a pitchMessage us two or three article ideas plus a short writing sample or link to anything you've written before.
- 2Agree the briefWe confirm the angle, word count, deadline and reward before you write a word.
- 3Write and submitSend the draft over. Our editor reviews it and comes back with light suggestions.
- 4Publish and get paidThe post goes live with your byline and your reward is credited to your account balance.
